My Guitar Resources
I have been playing off and on for about nine years. The last three or four
years I have really practised when I had the time. Anyone can learn the notes
and chords of a guitar. A few might have trouble moving quickly enough from
chord to chord at first. With practise I overcame that same problem, so if you
are new, don't give up. If you already play guitar there might be some cool links
for you...This guitar page includes...
- Basic guitar information and equipment
- Basic tab information and tab links
- And some basic guitar links
The first section contains some basic guitar information and some tips on what
equipment to get. Check it out.
The guitar basics
Tab is an easier way to read guitar music. Most people can't even read guitar
the old way anymore. I can read it the old way, but the first time through
it takes me awhile because I am so used to tab. Some people say you don't
even have to know how to read music to read tab, and that is not entirely
true. You can learn the basics in about five minutes, and pick the rest up
as you go. Two very cool links are...
- Harmony Central
is a very cool tab site dealing with all kinds of music and is very complete.
They no longer add new works so anything new in the last four to six months
won't be there.
- Netstatic is not quite as complete
as Harmony central, but has a lot of the newer stuff.
More to come, as I go along.
